Yes, I think it is healthy to argue and/or compete. It is part of daily life whether at home, at play or at work. You never gonna win all the time but you get a bit of adrenalin exchange and challenge. This is part of communication process; that sense of being able to come up in the end with a win win solution. Or in simpler terms, it does not have to end in a battle as long as you are willing to compromise and meet the person halfway. The beauty is the acceptance of what is good for both parties or being able to respect the differences if you cannot come up with an agreement at a given point in time. On another light, it is good to win, but it may be better to lose sometimes. It helps keep the balance and be grounded.
