Black Sheep or Curse

Do you believe that sometimes there is one member of the family labeled as the black sheep? And how about a series of catasrophies engulfing the whole clan? Some say it is a generation curse occuring as a form of punishment because their early ancestors have done something bad in the past? Do you think they are true or just mere coincidences? One can easily dismiss this thought and consider them as mere superstitious beliefs. Well, it is happening to a family I know and to their big clan.
Btw, how is your historical perspective of your own family tree? Would you rather disregard something like that as myth or real? How do you draw the line?
Well, all I ever adhere to is, good bounces back! It has always been my adage and will always be in reference to life especially in my dealings with love ones, kins and strangers as well, including those difficult to love.

Focus on what you have and not on what you want

Just rammed into my closet and saw clothes, new and old ones. I seldom use the new stuff that I got. I prefer the old ones. Funny though it may seem, but I like the dilapidated, torn and simple clothes. I keep adding latest but classic looks when I go to the shops. I should learn to mortify myself.

Up Close and Personal

I am so close to you.   I communicate with you all the time.   There is no dull moment each minute of the day.   We are soulmates and I live to the hilt every moment of my life because of you.   If I am down, you make me up.   If I am up, you make me feel grounded.   You tend to make me see what is always best for me.   Love you for it!

London Escapade

What a day to walk and peruse the shops at Kensington and Oxford Streets in London.   Something caught up my hubby’s attention as he stopped to look at one of the Estate Agents’ Window Gallery.  Most properties are worth a million nowadays but saw parking spaces worth £150,000.000. Mama Mia!

Slacking is fine

My husband and kids always remind me to relax and slow down.   There is always something to do around the house. Work is so good for my adrenalin.   It gives me so much pleasure to work hard and enjoy the  end of the day coming to fruition when jobs are finished more so beating Thursday deadlines.

However, today I get caught up with the mood of a Sunday rest and recreaton.   And now I must agree, slacking is fine!

I said goodbye to facebook

I am so pleased with myself that I finally bid goodbye to facebook.  At first, I kept postponing due to some debatable ideas and indecisive thoughts but after a while it was over.    This will keep me from wasting so much time everyday.  I have yet to focus on other relevant matters requiring more of my needed attention such as my home and family, career as well as volunteer work.

Chargrilled Broccoli and Beans with Chilli, Garlic and Sweet Soy Rice Noodles (via Cook Eat Live Vegetarian)

I like this recipe. i believe broccoli is good for hypertensive people…..it has nutrients to lower cholesterol when it is in high level. But do not eat too much or you will end up having diarrhea. Too much of everything is bad anyway.

Chargrilled Broccoli and Beans with Chilli, Garlic and Sweet Soy Rice Noodles I know broccoli isn't usually the most exciting of vegetables. I know it can be a bit bland and boring. Time to rethink that. With this treatment it transforms into a shining star. Seriously, we can't get enough of it. The Washer Up, my toughest critic, has claimed it his favourite thing. To quote "This is the best thing you've ever made". You can't argue with that can you? My best friend Tara bought me the Ottolenghi cookbook for my birthday. I … Read More
